Since 2002, Dr. Edwin Oliver has practiced as a licensed psychologist at the Baltimore Lab School. Prior to this, he was a school psychologist at Lake Clifton-Eastern High School in Baltimore City, and the Glen Oaks Therapeutic Day School in the Chicago area.
Dr. Oliver is originally from Rockville, Maryland. He attended University of Maryland, College Park and received a B.A. in English Language and Literature with a minor in Art History. Following this, he earned two masters degrees and a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College Graduate School in 1999. Eddie taught for five years at The Johns Hopkins University, and, prior to this, at the University of Baltimore.
Dr. Oliver is a trained expert witness. In 2003, he was appointed by the Governor to the Maryland Advisory Council on Mental Hygiene. In 2007, he was appointed to the Special Education State Advisory Committee by the Maryland Secretary of Education. Currently, he is an independent, licensed psychologist in private practice at Greenspring Station in Lutherville, Maryland.
